Female Evening/Weekend Mentor

Mentors primarily work with the counseling team to supervise group youth activities centered on personal growth. Mentors monitor and care for the physical, emotional, and social needs of students, in accordance with each student’s care plan. The position frequently requires staff to supervise and participate with the students in the community and in performing and/or leading recreational activities.

We are looking for positive role models with high moral standards and excellent leadership skills. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field and experience working with youth are preferred. The following are required: a valid driver’s license, 21 years of age or older, and the ability to pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening.

Shift 1 is available Monday–Friday, 2:30 pm–10:30 pm. Shift 2 is available Friday 2:30 pm–10:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday 7:30 am–10:30 pm. Shift 3 is available Saturday and Sunday 7:30 am–10:30 pm and Monday 2:30 pm–10:30 pm. Hiring for this position will continue as our student census grows.

Female Night Mentor

Female Night Mentors primarily monitor and care for the physical and emotional needs of students during traditional sleeping hours, which includes: Completing bed checks every 15 minutes, ensuring that each student is safe and is in her assigned bed, assisting students who are ill or who are otherwise having difficulty, remaining alert and awake at all times, and service and cleanup of breakfast to the students. Punctuality and dependability are essential, along with the ability to react safely in an emergency situation.

We are looking for positive role models with high moral standards and excellent leadership skills. A high-school diploma is required and experience working with at-risk youth is preferred. The following are required: a valid driver’s license, 21 years of age or older, and the ability to pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening.

Shift 1 is available from 10:00 pm–8:00 am Thursday–Saturday the first week and 10:00 pm–8:00 am Wednesday–Saturday the second week. Shift 2 is available from 10:00 pm–8:00 am Sunday–Wednesday the first week and 10:00 pm–8:00 am Sunday–Tuesday the second week. Hiring will continue for this position as our student census grows.

Licensed Counselors

We seek Youth Counselors who can demonstrate virtuous role-modeling, a compassionate rapport with young people, and a commitment to being fully engaged in a boarding school community. We prefer MA or PhD-level licensed counselors, social workers, and psychologists with experience in family systems, adolescence, addictions, and/or wilderness interventions.

Counselors will coordinate with students, teachers, and parents in developing and implementing each personal growth plan for a year-round case load of up to 12 girls. Hiring will continue for this position as our student census grows.
