Admission Process

The selection of the right therapeutic boarding school is a monumental one.  We understand this and want to help support your entire family throughout the process as much as possible.  We consider it imperative that you and your daughter work together to make the right choice.  By enlisting her participation in choosing Greenbrier Academy for Girls, she becomes invested in her own success.  Through her commitment to attend, she will gain the therapeutic and life skills she needs to not only become a healthy and happy young woman, but to also prepare for the realities of college and independent living.

Campus Visits
We highly recommend a visit to our campus, however it is not required for enrollment. We welcome professionals, parents, and/or potential students to come and experience all we have to offer at our school. We encourage visitors to sit down one-on-one with our students and ask them questions or let them take you on a tour.  Please contact admissions to schedule a campus visit. Applying
Our admissions team is available by phone or email to assist in every step of the application process. Our campus offers year-round rolling admissions. We welcome referrals for students from educational and mental health professionals, current and alumni parents, and concerned friends and family.

The admissions process starts with the submission of the Student Application and accompanying records listed below to the admissions team.  These records are carefully reviewed to determine if Greenbrier Academy for Girls is an appropriate fit for the student.  Please feel free to contact admissions with any questions in submitting the admissions records below:

Enrollment
When a favorable placement decision has been made, the admissions team will schedule an enrollment date and sign an Enrollment Agreement with the family.  We primarily enroll students Monday through Thursday, but other arrangements can be made if necessary. Our Dress Code provides a list of appropriate items/clothing, as well as prohibited items.
