Wesley Thompson – Humanities Teacher
Wesley is a native Texan who graduated from Baylor University with double majors in Psychology and Religion. While at Baylor he provided supplemental lectures for an undergraduate psychology course in coordination with the professor. Before working at Greenbrier Academy he worked for Child Protective Services in Texas as an investigative social worker.
Wesley has a passion for serving others. He helped lead a construction project on the Mississippi coastline after hurricane Katrina and spent two months in Ghana, West Africa refurbishing the electricity of an orphanage for the mentally and physically handicapped. Wes has let his passion for serving others influence his career path as well. In his free time Wes enjoys playing his djembe drum and steel pan, scuba diving, sculpting, and fly-fishing.
